Montford Point Headline

Breaking through racial barriers, the Montford Point Marines transformed the face of the Marine Corps. Their honor, courage and commitment played a critical role, not only in integrating the Marine Corps but also in some of our nation's greatest battles. For their bravery, they were awarded the Congressional Gold Medal, the nation's highest civilian honor.

12 Weeks

This is the ultimate proving ground for those who are driven by purpose,
guided by values, and aspire to earn the title Marine. Explore each week
of the training required to defend our nation as one of the few.

Eligibility

To earn our title is to take your place among warriors—but there is
no easy way in. If there were, it wouldn't be the Marine Corps. Find out
what's required to begin your journey on one of four paths: Enlisted,
Officer, Marine Reserve and Prior Service.

6 Hours

We are First to Fight because we are the first ones ready, able to plan and mobilize for any ship-to-shore operation within six hours. This is your opportunity to delve into the training and mindset of these elite warriors.

MAGTF

Marines are uniquely trained, equipped and organized
to maintain a constant state of global readiness. Find out
how the Marine Air-Ground Task Force is structured to
accomplish our missions.
